Breast Reduction

Breast Reduction? I am 5'8'' 115 pounds and I wear a size 32E cup...I am considering breast reduction surgery and I was just wondering if I would be a good candidate for this and if anyone here has had one and what complications they had, if they stayed overnight at the hospital, amount of scarring, etc. Thanks!

Can a person breastfeed from only one breast? Can milk production on one side shut off and continue on other? Due to complications from a breast reduction, I had to have a nipple surgically reconstructed (simular to what they do for a masectomy). I would love to be able to breast feed for atleast a little while, but because I can only extract milk from one breast, I'm not sure if I will be able to.

Who here has had a breast reduction or lift or at least know someone who has? I know I need to talk to my doctor about this, and I will, But first I want to do my own research. I've read all about the procedure and the risks and the benefits but I really want to talk to some people who have first hand experience. I want to know how it felt, if it was worse or better than they thought it would go, was it worth it, and if you have or have not experience complications. Please tell me about how it went and would you reccomend it to someone.

How long does it take for your milk to dry up? I was unable to breastfeed bc of complications from a breast reduction, and I gave birth last thursday....my milk started coming in Sunday night, I have been wearing a tightly bound bra and sports bra....And I was wondering when it will start to dry up....?? Also....will my boobs go back down to there regular size?? Or stay larger??

Breast Augmentation? I have been thinking about this for many years, but I don't know anyone personally who has done this. If you've had a breast reduction or implants, please tell me your experiences, reasons why, and how you feel about it now. Would you do it over again? Was it worth the cost? Did you have complications? How did you select a surgeon? If anyone had children after having the surgury, were you able to breastfeed your babies?

Important question?? I WAS WONDERING WHAT KIND OF FORMULA NEWBORNS WOULD USE?? I'm unable to breastfeed due to complications from a breast reduction, however I was wondering if there was a certain kind with certain things in it for newborns?? Or does it depend on what his condition is when born....of what kind he will need?? in other words should I wait til he's born before buying any formula?? Or will the sr recommend a certain kind once he is born??

Who agrees that plastic surgery is self destructive? I just read the article in yahoo news about Kanye Wests mom, and how she died because of complications due to plastic surgery. I AM OUTRAGED, I don't understand why people that have plastic surgery are seen as hot. I want to know there's still people out there that haven't lost their minds, and believes plastic surgery should never be an option, unless it's a deformation, or I understand a breast reduction if it begins to hurt your back... i just don't understand, people are willing to die for beauty, they must be suicidal, am I right or what?

Will I still get milk? I had a breast reduction 3 years ago...Anyways the surgeon said I wouldnt be able to breast feed due to complications from surgery!! I had my baby on thursday...My boobs have def gotten bigger, they feel heavy....but no milk can leak out and they do not hurt....Will it go away on its own??

One look at any photo of the good Doctor shows she looked pretty damn great for 58 (and we're sure Kanye thought she was beautiful just the way she was), but even a wise professor like Donda was susceptible to societal pressure on women to stay 25 forever. Guys, do F-cup natural breasts scare you? My friend is a 34-F and was once told they were too big by her significant other. There are no physical complications i.e. back trouble from her size, and she is not contimplating a reduction. She's simply curious as to whoo-hoo!!! vs. eeeeeeeeeeeeeekk!!!!
