Breast Reduction & Insurance? Hi everybody. I am a 19 year old female, and just recently got a great job @ a laboratory where they have full benefits. I currently have BCBS TX health insurance (the high plan) and I am wanting to look into having a breast reduction really soon. I am currently a 40D and have somewhat of a "hunchback" going on. I constantly find myself slouching and when I try to straighten my back up, I only do it for a second or two because the weight ends up making me slouch again. I really don't want to have back problems the older I get, but I'm afraid if I don't do something about it, then I will by the time I am 25 or so. I also have pretty obvious stretch marks on the sides of my breast from the weight. Does anyone know or have any info on how I go about having this done? Thank so much!!
Weight Loss and Breast Reduction???? Im a female that has recently lost a lil weight and is trying to lose a few more. Or more like toning it all up. A problem that Im having is that my breast size has shrunk fom a 36C/D to around a 34D or 36B depending on the person that measured me. I knew that would happen with weight loss but theyre not as firm as they used to be and the skin at the top portion of my breast is a lil loose and looks as though stretch marks want to form. How can I firm them up so? Anyone know any secrets to helping your breast grow. I miss my size and dudes close to me have noticed the reduction as well which makes it harder for me to deal with this????? Botox or collagen injections for breast??? LOL
will a doctor perform surgery if a female is pregnant? I'm set up to have a breast reduction which i desperately need, but there might be small chance that i'm pregnant if you have a smart ass answer like "you should have been more careful" then save that bullshit for someone else. im a married woman so if i get preggers so what. this is SMALL chance that i might be my period should arrive next monday i was just wondering because some things pose greater risk early in pregnancy.
I am a male to female transsexual who failed once with transition and would like to again? I tried to transition on the job but my employer said no if I wanted to retire. I had been female hormones several years and had to quit hormones and have breast reduction surgery. I still feel like a woman and have wanted to be one even without hormones
What is a reasonable amount of weight to lose in 6 weeks time? I am 20 years old, a college female. I live on campus, and eat horrible campus food. I am having breast reduction at the end of December and would like to lose a few pounds first. What is a reasonable goal? I weight about 135 right now.
How much should I weigh for my age and height? I'm a 21 yr old female and I'm 5'7 with a heavy chest. I'm a natural 38DD, that's where all my weight is, I'm just looking to tone up everything else, I'm a size 10 working to get to a size 8 or 6, do you think getting a breast reduction will help for weight loss or should I just do upper body workout? Thanks for your reply... I dont want to be skinny, I still want my curves, but with these breast, they make me look heavier than I really am, especially my mid section. My waist and legs are a good size but my top portion needs a total makeover
Breast lift? I'm fifteen/female (I guess female is obvious because if I was a male, I probably wouldn't be asking this.). My breasts are very heavy (I'm between a full C and a small D) and they sag badly. I've had big breasts for several years because they developed very quickly. I started getting breasts that needed a real bra at least at the age of 10/11 I think and my breasts have been the same size since I was 13/14 I'm pretty sure. I can't excercise without them hurting and they cause my posture to slump. I don't want to get them reduced because I'm not sure my frame would look good with smaller breasts but what really puts me off is the dangers of breast reduction. Am I too young to get a breast lift because I think if I got one, they'd look better and they'd probably feel better? Could insurance pay this? Any iformation welcome. Thanks. Padded straps don't help. Besides, I've started modeling but I can't wear some of the clothes because of how my breasts hang. Also I wouldn't do this to fall into mainstream beauty. I would do it whether I wanted to model or not. My breasts have been the same size for at least two years and I'm pretty much fully developed everywhere else. I'm 5' 8''/5' 9'' and I've been the same height for at least a year and a half I know. As I said, I would rather not get them reduced because they wouldn't look good on my frame and I don't like the idea of the surgery anyway. I wouldn't go to India for surgery even if it meant paying only 30%. At the end with travel fees and such, it'd probably come up just as much as the surgery in the USA would have cost if not more. Could someone just post some info on breast lift? I think that would be the best thing for me and I would get relief from it because my breasts have a lot of loose skin. If the skin were taken away, they'd stand higher, they wouldn't sag and they would hurt as much.
Do most men really like big breasts, or is a homophobic society pressuring men into such boob appeal? If you are a man (or woman) that really likes bigger breasts on a woman, please explain why and what it is about big boobs that is appealing to you. I have large boobs and am thinking of having a breast reduction because I think breasts are more appealing smaller. All the Men that I know say bigger is better. Nonetheless, I would like some male (or female) opinions on this subject who are not influenced by knowing me. Thanks for answering.
Can potentially negative perceptions be avoidable? My wife is an all natural beauty. She is told this on a regular basis. She has awesome legs and body shape. This is where the main problem is, she also has naturally huge chests. (We have to special order her bras.) So here the problem. She wears normal clothes, such as shorts and tank tops, to keep cool in the summer. Yet she receives quite alot of negative comments. She has been called many slanderous things, such as a whore or worse. This comes mainly from females. She is often asked if she plans to get a breast reduction. (Talk about rude.) Her clothes are no different than what the average wife would wear, but because she unavoidably has alot of cleavage, along with her other features, alot of people seem to judge her poorly. She never has worn anything riske` or revealing in public, only the average clothes. Question: Is there a way to avoid such negative perceptions without her wearing sweatshirts and pants in summer? If not, what is the best way to cope with it? She had back problems until we started to see a chiropractor. She goes regularly and is fine now. Unfortunately when she lived with her parents, they didn't believe in chiropractors. Thanks for all the constructive feedback. I honestly worry about this since she does care a good deal about what people think of her. She is a very upbeat and active individual, but this will sometimes get her down. I've shared your comments, and will continue to do so. So thank you again for the feedback.
Question about my "Boyfriend"? Okay, well, my boyfriend was once a girl until he got cancer. Since he WAS a girl he had breasts and female genitalia. Before that, he had a breast reduction, and after that, he was virtually flat. He also always found himself masculine and felt that he should be a boy. When they were checking him to see if radiation therapy was alright, he found out he had tubes for a man and a woman. As I said previously he wanted to be a boy, so what luck! He then had a sex change, and I don't know what else to make him more into a boy than a girl. Now, was he a hermaphrodite? He also considered himself "gay," because he liked boys, until long-story-short, he fell in love with me(I am a girl) and he considers himself straight, BUT calls himself lesbian to his best friends that knew him since he was a "female." Explain? I found out he was once a girl after we started saying we loved each other, but when I saw his "female" pictures, I had feelings towards him. And mixed feelings for girls. Am I bi? It peeves me when a person just thumbdowns every answer.
Bleeding nipples? My boyfriends nipples have been bleeding alot recently. They're a little dry but not overally. He has quite large man boobs for his size.. He is over weight, but the boobs seem out of proportion. I've been told bleeding is one of the signs of female hormones + him possibly having breasts due to female hormones rather than fat (I know some will be fat).. Does this sound right? He's only 21 so don't think it's anything more serious. To be honest if it was hormonal he'd be thrilled as it gives him a better chance of a breast reduction on the NHS. Lazy bum
appropriate outfits for females with large breasts? Are there any links that share or point out how to dress casual and sexy, with a better fitting look. I have trouble finding fitting clothes because my breasts are large and my body is petite-average, but still curvy. Please no suggestions about breast reduction, i'm proud of my breasts (never had back problems in my life, i also work out regularly), but would like an appropriate way of how to dress. Are there ways to be dressy, and or wear revealing tops with proper equipment to hold the ladies. I can't wear halter tops unless they have very sturdy inbuilt breast holders, and i can't wear boob tubes, or stringy tanks.
What do you think of people who get plastic surgery makeovers? Do you think of them as fake or what? Technically, plastic surgery is no different than dying your hair a different color. You're unnaturally changing something about yourself. The only difference is that hair dye is cheaper and non-surgical. It's temporary, yes but so is botox. Why do people get so worked up over plastic surgery? So what if they got a nose job or something? If it makes them feel better about themselves, why would people try to bring them down and make them feel less than human? To put it bluntly, people reject you when you're ugly and then they reject you when you "fix it". In tabloids, it's always a big deal for a female celebrity to get breast implants and they rag them out but if a woman gets a breast reduction, they support them. If a woman dyes her hair blonde, she's just a vain bottle blonde idiot. If a woman dyes her hair black or brown, she's a groundbreaker. I don't get it. Why are some beauty things okay and not others? Please post thoughts. Thanks. Also people spend thousands of dollars on makeup and designer clothing but no one bashes them for that. People who get plastic surgery aren't always rich or mean at all. I know many people who've gotten plastic surgery and they're very nice and not rich at all. Unless a person has side effects of plastic surgery or go "overboard", there is no way to tell if a person has had plastic surgery unless they tell you or you xray them and can read xrays to see how bone was surgically altered. If a woman has children or if someone loses a lot of weight, a body lift or tummy tuck is nessecary. It has nothing to do with being lazy. Their skin just didn't tighten back up. There are thin women who get tummy tucks because of sagging skin so being lazy is not always a factor. Also makeup and hair dye are temporary but so are a lot of cosmetic procedures. And you're still using unnatural ways to cover up flaws. Surgery is more like permanent makeup. If getting surgery makes someone a little happier, who cares? It doesn't make them a better or worse of a person. I think a majority of people who have "natural beauty" would be jealous if their ugly friend got plastic surgery and came out prettier than they did. Uh this is a debate which is why I asked the question in the first place.
Question for large breasted women!? This is a serious question so please don't goof around. I have a female friend who is very large chested and she is considering having a breast reduction. I really don't know what to say to her. She has asked me for my opinion and I told her it is her body and she should do what makes her happy but... that isn't exactly what she wanted. I don't know exactly how to address this. I am a guy and it is tough for me to comment. As a man, I of course have a preference on what I like but I am not the one who has to carry those things around. If you are large-breasted and have decided to have or not have a reduction, can you offer me some advice on things to ask her to consider?
what good is to come from this? Why should I try to do right in this world when all the time I'm torn between what I feel is the right thing to do and what the Bible says is right. I'm not a religious person, but I do believe in heaven and hell. I used to be an abusive person, but have changed my ways. I'm happy in my relationship with another female bodied person, that's lasted 2 wonderful years. I am FtM, pre-op, and all that I'm ever going to do is get a breast reduction. I'm an Hispanic person in a relationship with a white person. Also born outside this country but I'm a USA citizen, not an illegal alien. But I'm not an activist, I'm just a normal citizen, attempting to lead a normal life. But I can't go anywhere in this world without watching my back for people to attack me or my girlfriend because we're "wrong in the eyes of God". I was taught that God created all the creatures in his own image, that he loved all of us, and that he didn't make mistakes. So why am I wrong?
Workout TV Show who likes it? I like that show because Jackie is trying to prevent 2 people from having surgery. One person who wants a breast reduction and the other a gastric bypass. We will have to see if they work. She seems like she is good to her clients, but I am sure she is a bear to work with. I know the type. I have worked with doctors like that. At least they have something I can respect them for. If they were creaps in all ways it would be hard. I can repect her for that. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders except with respect to having a girlfriend who bites her. I guess many of us are total idiots when it comes to love however. That is total abuse domestic abuse. I hear it is common in the female gay community. I expect more from her. I hope she does not raise kids with her. There are plenty of more mature women out there that do not bit I am sure. My boyfriend is always good to me. He never hurts me. Other topic however. I guess if people just worked out it would not be good reality TV. I do like the way they are focusing on fittness rather than surgery in the superficial world of holywood. I wish they would talk more about nutrition and the workout aspect and that part. I really would like to put all that soap oprea stuff on the back burner and lean more to the speacial stuff they do there. I know it is a unique place or they would not get the money they do. $400/session sometimes tell us more about the program.
Large breasts not in anymore? When I was younger I used to always flaunt my chest and was proud of my large boobs. I am a very petite girl but overdeveloped as a child and now wear a 34 double d.... I absolutely HATE having large breasts now, they are SO painful, I have bad posture and a weak back bc of my breasts and they are just degrading.. when a person sees that I have large breasts that is all they are thinking about. I am getting a breast reduction soon (going down to a full b little c) and cannot wait. Are big boobs out now??? I find it more fashionable and beautiful to be natural and small chested.. you look better in clothes that way anways ladies! I cannot even fit into a blouse bc the buttons wont close where my boobs are. Also why do females get fake boobs, I think they are so unattractive!! What are your thoughts? Do you think I am making a good choice? And also, what do men really think about breasts??
Guys Please Answer!!!!!!!? What do you think about a 48DDD/F chest on a 17 year old female? and yes it is real I started growing early. In 4th grade I was 38 C size. Should I have a breast reduction. What size do guys like?
Spiritual fast? I plan to do a fast for a week drinking just water. I know it will be hard, but I am willing to do this. I was talking to my father about me getting a breast reduction and he told me to fast and I should go down about 2 cup sizes. He also meantioned that I should do the fast to become closer with God because I have been drifting away lately. What do you think? Should I do it? Have you done a spiritual fast? How did you feel afterwards? How did you start eating again? I am 14 years old, female, 5'3", 135lbs.
Girls, Considering Surgery(guy)? Ok, so I'm 20 yrs old and I have female friends but never a girl friend, so I thought maybe I just have low self esteem because all through high school I was on the heavy side. Well I lost about 30 pounds and I'm still not thin but not obese. The problem is I still have alot of fat around my chest(man boobies). I have done alot of chest exercises and such and it just gets bigger because my pecks increase but the fat on top just poke out. I'm starting to just think its genetic. I fell pretty good about the rest of my body but that one area makes me very self-conscience. So I'm considering getting Gynecomastia which is basically male breast reduction. I'm just really apprehensive about getting the surgery because I'm afraid it would mae people think differently about me. How would you feel if a guy you knew had plastic surgery?
whats a good weight for me? So to be honest I am an african american female with hips, butt and I am about 44DD. I am 5 foot 2 inches and right now i weigh 220lbs I am on weight watchers and I was tying to come up with a goal weight I was thinking 150lbs but my boyfriend was thinking 170lbs. He likes me thick. What do you think. Oh I am 20yrs old. I plan on getting a breast reduction but my DR said I need to wait until I get down to my goal weight!
Why do women hate their breasts so much? The female mind baffles me sometimes. I study body image issues of all kinds and one of my first areas of study was the issues of women. The two biggest areas with women I found were weight complexes and breasts complexes. The diet craze society has women paranoid to the point of panic for gaining a few pounds or being seen eating what they think is "too much". Weight-loss surgery, liposuction and supermarket magazines with waistbands of pants pulled way out in front. Insanity at its finest when there's nothing wrong with being round & full. The other is the breast issue. From large to small it is a psychological pandemic that has women in disgust of their variant features. The A-cup women lament their smallness & the H-cup women lament their largeness. No one is ever satisfied. The women want to fit some arbitrary mold that betrays their natural admirers. Reduction, augmentation, lift, shaping. Nonsense about "in proportion" & a general dislike of being a unique individual. Why? Just wanted to say that I TOTALLY disagree with "John H" though he has every right to express his views. I feel this is the problem that creates the complexes in women. There is NOTHING wrong with being large-chested and there is NOTHING wrong with being flat-chested. Both types have audiences that appreciate that form & revere it. I want this kind of message to be spread amongst women of the world. STOP hating yourself and your looks based on some ignorant current in society. I feel that in order to make lasting change on this we need better representation in the media. From TV to movies to magazines to advertisements to products. Whew NOTHING wrong with H-cups, they are NOT to be ashamed of. A-cup girls love your unique femininity. Had to say this after hearing that guy's comments. And fat DOESN'T equal unhealthy. That's another misnomer I wanted to highlight. Quit being ashamed of your weight, ladies. OK I'm done for now. For the women who love their looks:: THANK you. We need more of this in our society. Don't change that viewpoint. To i_love_green: Yes you're right. I'm a man & there are limits to my understanding no matter how much I learn. This is why I will now reference sites done by women with the experience who DO know. For the large-busted http://www.banbreastreductions.com by a very large-breasted lady named Cherry Brady who dispels the myths about backpain & other things on the breast issue (I wish I could have shown this to you in time, Terri). For the small-busted: http://www.siliconeholocaust.org/ a site which without a lady named Shirley Goodner wouldn't be possible. All men do NOT like large breasts and you do NOT have to undergo this butchering taxidermy to feel attractive, whole or "normal".

If a woman wears makeup to make her eyes look bigger or make her lips look fuller, isn't that cheating too?
