Question for large breasted women!?
This is a serious question so please don't goof around. I have a female friend who is very large chested and she is considering having a breast reduction. I really don't know what to say to her. She has asked me for my opinion and I told her it is her body and she should do what makes her happy but... that isn't exactly what she wanted. I don't know exactly how to address this. I am a guy and it is tough for me to comment. As a man, I of course have a preference on what I like but I am not the one who has to carry those things around. If you are large-breasted and have decided to have or not have a reduction, can you offer me some advice on things to ask her to consider?

- her health for one, a female friend HAD to get a reduction done because she was having so many back problems. plus carrying around extra weight weather its a gut or boobs is stressful to the body, inside and out.
- Unless she's having physical problems as a result (usually backaches), I can't understand actually having a reduction surgery. I am big-breasted myself (38DD) and have considered breast reduction...but not seriously. I do have lower back problems, but I can minimize them with certain exercises and better support (bras that fit right). I don't believe the possibility of less back pain is worth the procedural risks. Not knowing anything about your friend's size, she may also get some relief from weight loss - again, exercise. If it isn't a health issue, it's simply vanity or a self-esteem issue. However, it seems unlikely that one procedure will make her happy. Most people who opt for cosmetic surgery don't stop with one, but go on to tummy tucks, face lifts, etc. Again, I don't think it's worth the risk. You might try boosting her ego in small ways: help her shop for clothing that minimizes the area(s) she's uncomfortable with, compliment her on how she looks in a certain sweater, etc. If she asks most women for their opinion (like I did), she'll most likely get this answer: "If you want to get rid of them, I'll gladly trade!" At a time when so many women are having breast augmentation and implants, it seems strange to most people that there are still women out there thinking about how they can make their breasts look SMALLER.
- I have a friend who had reduction surgery and she said it was the best thing she ever did. She feels better, both physically and mentally. She was having back problems so it made sense for her physically. But she said she often felt uncomfortable with the attention she received from men who only liked her because she was well-endowed. I made her happy so it was the right thing for her to do. I hope your friend determines what's best for her.
- Breast Reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America. Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com Hope this helps.
