HELP ME: How do I get the insurance company to pay for my male breast reduction surgery? Please Help!!!!?

I have man-boobs and I want the insurance company to pay for the surgical coverage. How do I do this? What are some specific things I should put in the letter to the insurance company other than; - feelings of depression, anxiety - slight discomfort - Isolation from sports, etc HELP ME ANYONE!!!

1. get your doctor to certify that the surgery is necessary from a medical standpoint due to health reasons, If he won't then it is elective surgery and shouldnt be covered.
2. Sorry, cosmetic surgery is NOT covered. It's elective. If you had man breast cancer, they'd cover it.
3. your going to need to get doctors to say its needed medically the insurance company will ask you what doctors you've seen and what their opinions are and will probably want you to see a doctor that they specify B.
4. They won't cover it solely due to mental anguish, or isolation. The only time I've ever seen it covered is with an grade II or > diagnosis of gynecomastia. 5. Unless it is medically necessary, it isn't covered by insurance.

7. You need at least one doctor (preferably your PCP - the one you see most often) to provide documentation of medical necessity. From there, the insurance company decides whether or not they want to pay for it. If it's not a covered benefit, you can't force them.
